Erase Signs of Age By Firming Your Bust with a Breast Lift
Often combined with breast augmentation, a breast lift—also known as mastopexy— will raise the bust line to counteract the effects of pregnancy, nursing, weight gain or loss and aging. Performed on-site at our surgery center, a breast lift will add a youthful, toned look to your silhouette.
Breast Lift Procedure by Dr. Eric Weiss
Dr. Weiss begins your initial consultation by reviewing before and after photos of other breast lift patients, and will help you select the level of correction for you to achieve your desired look. All applicable costs will also be reviewed during this confidential appointment.
Breast lifts are performed under general anesthesia and take approximately one to two hours to complete. Incisions are made to remove excess skin around each areola and occasionally, under each breast. The remaining skin is tightened and the areola and nipple are elevated on the breast to achieve the most natural position. In order to achieve optimal results, breast augmentation with saline implants is frequently combined with a breast lift.
Most patients recover quickly from the procedure and experience a brief recovery with only minor discomfort. Both operations—breast augmentation and breast lift—are extremely safe and patients enjoy fewer complications and better recovery times than ever before.
