Secondary Breast Surgeries
Find New Hope with Breast Revision
Most surgical breast procedures are extremely successful, but in some circumstances patients experience dissatisfaction with the outcome. Women commonly seek secondary breast surgeries or breast revision due to:
- A desire to switch size or type of implant
- Irregular implant appearance, including rippling, asymmetry or deflation
- Unnatural hardening of the original implants
- Or you just may want to remove them…
Dr. Weiss will closely evaluate each individual surgical situation and develop a comprehensive plan to restore a natural look that meets your expectations.
Secondary Breast Surgeries Procedure by Dr. Eric Weiss
Dr. Weiss begins your initial consultation by reviewing before and after photos of other secondary breast surgeries patients, and will help you select the level of correction for you to achieve your desired look. All applicable costs will also be reviewed during this confidential appointment.
For most patients, the existing implants will be removed and the cavity under the tissue or muscle will be reformed in preparation for a new implant.
Recovery time can vary based on the placement of the implants and the amount of breast tissue, but generally, most patients experience only moderate soreness for several days following the augmentation.
