Smooth Away Forehead Wrinkles with a Brow Lift
The natural aging process often leaves us with deep forehead furrows or worry lines between the eyebrows. Coupled with sun exposure and weight fluctuations, the appearance of the forehead can leave you looking unnaturally angry, sad and tired. A brow lift will revitalize your face, leaving you with a wrinkle-free, smooth forehead.
Brow Lift Procedure by Dr. Eric Weiss
Dr. Weiss begins your initial consultation by reviewing before and after photos of other brow lift patients, and will help you select the level of correction for you to achieve your desired look. All applicable costs will also be reviewed during this confidential appointment.
Traditional: Recommended for patients over 40, a traditional brow lift discreetly places an incision along the hairline; the skin is tightened and any excess tissue is removed.
Endoscopic: Recommended for younger patients, this procedure uses an endoscope to remove surplus skin and tissue through several, small incisions at the hairline. Additionally, the forehead skin and muscles are tightened.
Patients can expect bruising, swelling, numbness and headaches as temporary side effects during the post-operative healing period. Depending on the nature of employment, the average time off from work following a brow lift is approximately ten days. Recovering brow lift patients must also abstain from lifting more than 10 pounds for at least two weeks following surgery.
